How long will it take to complete the qualification?
Depending on the Qualification, bewteen 10 and 20 months.
What happens if I finish early?
Once payment has been received in full, certificates will be awarded.
What are the payment terms?
Pay in full or in up to 10 instalments.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes! 20% VAT is included in the costs above.
Do the qualifications count towards ratio?
Yes, both the level 2 and level 3 are on the approved list of EYFS qualifications. For full details on ratio requirements follow this link to the EYFS guidance.
Will I get a refund if I don’t complete?
Payments will be refunded on a pro rata basis relating to time on programme. All prices will be agreed before starting the programme.
What support will I receive?
You will receive a full induction and monthly one to one support with a dedicated and experienced tutor.
Is it paper based or e-portfolio?
Normally OneFile e-portfolio but paper based is available.
Is the employer involved in the training?
Employers are actively encouraged to be fully involved in the training and will be given access to the e-portfolio.
Who is the awarding Body?
NCFE CACHE are our chosen Awarding Body.
What happens if I leave my employer?
If you remain in Childcare, it is unlikely to affect your course (depending who paid for the qualification). You can take the qualification with you.
Do I have to do Functional Skills?
Maths, English and ICT are not required for this course; however, Maths and English may be required for Level 3 ratios – please check with your setting.
Do I have to do an ERR Workbook?
Employment Rights and Responsibilities are not required as part of this course.
Do I have to do Off the Job Training?
Off the Job Training is not a mandatory requirement for this course, though we’d always recommend you spend some of your time at work developing your knowledge.
